To Whom It May Concern:

RE: Hyatt and Anne Moore

It is with pleasure and admiration that I recommend Hyatt and Anne Moore for a missions emphasis or a church missions conference. They are a delightful couple to host and enter into a congregation or small group in a meaningful manner.

Not only has this couple served for thirty-two years in the ministry of Wycliffe Bible Translators, but have also served in a variety of capacities to raise missions awareness and personal involvement. They have served in many different countries throughout Latin America, in Papua New Guinea, as well as in Canada and several of the Southwestern states. Wherever they have served, the message of Christ and global world missions has been advanced effectively through their artwork and story telling.

More recently, both of them have retired from full time ministry and have focused their attention on their respective forms of art. They have used their artwork as their ministry and continue to have an impact upon the church and the Christian community.

Most notable is Hyatt’s painting of The Lord’s Supper with the twelve tribes at the table with Jesus at the center point. The painting is magnificent and stands as a strong tribute to the Christian faith and the outstretched stands of God through Christ to the whole world. The story expressed through this painting needs to be told and retold through the words of its painter, Hyatt Moore.

I commend him to you as a clear spokesperson for the faith and for the cause of Christ through world missions.

Respectfully,

Allan G. Hedberg, Ph.D.
