Again this summer Anne is showing at the Laguna Festival of Art. Here’s a preview, plus a new exploration: Handcrafted Books.

Art is in very large measure an exercise in creativity. One continues to explore. It can be crazy from a marketing perspective but it’s one of the reasons to be an artist. Also see news about upcoming workshops.

It’s this weekend we’re hosting our semi-annual show at the house. And once again we’re showcasing a lot of new art, and some at very, very low prices. See invitation at bottom of post.

Once again Anne is the featured artist at the Sandstone Gallery in Laguna Beach. The opening is this Thursday evening at the ever-popular Art Walk. It’ll be a great summer evening; come out and enjoy it…unless you’re off in Japan, like some of the subjects in this issue.

Enigmatic Influence seemed a fitting title of this e-gallery as it features a number of Anne’s recent creations. Once again, Anne Moore will be the featured artist at Sandstone Gallery in Laguna Beach. The opening is tomorrow evening, during the ever-festive Art Walk. Come if you can. Also this month Hyatt Moore will be featured as guest lecturer-demonstrator at the San Clemente Art Association. You’re invited to that, too. The long anticipated show is upon us and you’re all invited. The Festival of Arts in Laguna Beach is a prestigious event where every year hundreds of artist compete and only a few new ones are accepted. After years of applying for both of us, this year Anne was accepted. Take five minutes and see why.

Every year about this time the San Clemente Art Association sponsors a plein air competition. Painters, including me, have been painting San Clemente this week which will culminate this Saturday with a show and sale. Included will be at least one ala prima painted during the “quick draw.” Take a minute and check it out. (Or take an hour and drop by on Saturday.)
