The prayer\/psalm is more recent.<\/h6>\n<p><em>Here&#8217;s another from the sketchbook.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Lord, I am so infinitesimally small<br \/>\nin terms of all things . . .<br \/>\nYet, I confess, all else seems small<br \/>\nin terms of me.<\/p>\n<p>How could the latter not be so?<br \/>\nYou have created me . . . each of us<br \/>\nAs separate worlds within ourselves<br \/>\nand perceivers of the larger worlds without.<\/p>\n<p>From this limited yet ever-moving vantage<br \/>\nI see the else<br \/>\nand it is just that: ELSE!<br \/>\nI&#8217;m the central one!<\/p>\n<p>Yet, the thought to being alone,<br \/>\ntruly alone,<br \/>\nthat&#8217;s despair.<br \/>\nI&#8217;m glad you are here.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;re looking out on your world from within me,<br \/>\ninteracting with your vastness also from here . . .<br \/>\nYour spirit inside of me,<br \/>\noutside of me . . .<\/p>\n<p>I teeter at the wonder of it all.<br \/>\nI get it . . .<br \/>\nI don&#8217;t get it . . .<br \/>\nboth.<\/p>\n<p>But I do get that.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>_________________<\/p>\n<p>My Sister, Sue Moore Donaldson, also has a blog.
